Most problems in a game have a quick fix. These are the ones we know about, and where to go when it is about a payment.
Starting a game
Open Amuse the Bots on the TV or laptop that everyone can see and choose to host. The screen shows a room code. Everyone joins on their own phone with that code.
Players need no account and pay nothing.
Join a roomYour phone dropped out of the game
Open the room link again in the same browser on the same phone. That browser remembers your seat, so your name and score come back.
On another phone or browser you need the recovery card or code you saved from the room menu. Without one, another player in the room can let you back in from their room menu.
Recover your seatPaying for a match
One person pays for the whole room. In the lobby they tap "I'll pay", sign in, and buy credits if they are short. The lobby shows the price of the whole match before anything is paid.
Paid by mistake? Undo puts the credits back as long as the match has not started and no AI prompts were made for it.
You paid but see no credits
Credits appear once Stripe confirms the payment, usually within a minute. Until then your account page lists the payment as pending. Do not pay a second time.
If the payment still shows as pending after an hour, ask Link, the Stripe service that takes the payment.
Link supportA round went wrong
If none of the AI judges returns a usable ranking, or fewer than two answers came in, the credits for that round go back to whoever paid. You do not have to ask.
If some judges answered and others failed, the round counts and costs the full price.
Ending a match early or closing the room returns the credits for the rounds you did not play. The fee for AI-made prompts stays spent once the prompts exist.
Receipts, refunds and charges you do not recognise
Stripe sells the credits through its Link service and is the seller on your receipt. Your bank statement shows LINK.COM.
For a receipt, a refund request or a charge you do not recognise, go to Link support. When a purchase is refunded, the credits it bought leave your balance.
Link supportThe AI wrote something nasty
The judges and the roasts are AI models. They can be wrong, rude or offensive, and nobody reads their text before it reaches your screen.
The host can turn roasts off in the lobby and choose the mild prompts.
Your data
Closing a room from the room menu deletes it, with its players and answers, about a day later.
What we store and for how longStill stuck?
Write to us. Include the room code if you have it, and for a payment the date and the amount.
