Amuse the Bots

Or at least your friends.

Three friends on a sofa laughing at a phone. Behind them a small paper robot judge holds up a paddle with a straight face.

Make the room laugh. Then try the bots.

The party game where friends answer the same prompt on their phones and an AI jury ranks every answer.

The room votes too. A roast for last place can be on or off.

Open amusethebots.com on a TV or laptop. It shows the room code and a QR code. Your phone stays the remote.

Fictional example

The big screen shows a QR code and a room code. Everyone scans it with their phone. No app, no account.

The jury on this answer

  • Gemini
  • OpenAI
  • Grok

An example round we wrote. In your game the answers are yours and the roasts come from the jury.

What you need

  1. One big screen

A TV, laptop or projector with a browser. Plug a laptop into the TV or open the site on a smart TV. Nobody has to sit at that screen afterwards.

  2. A phone per player

Scan the QR code or type the room code. Players need no app and no account.

  3. Two to twelve players

Two works. From four answers up the room also votes for the worst one, and that is when it gets mean.

Who is on the jury

  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • OpenAI
  • Grok

Each judge ranks the answers without seeing the others' rankings. You choose on your phone who takes part, anywhere from one judge to all four.

What it costs

Joining is free. One player pays for the match with credits. The price depends on the number of rounds and judges, and it is on the phone before anyone pays. If no AI judge can rank a round, that round's credits come back. So do the credits for rounds you don't play.
